Tain Pottery, located in the Scottish Highlands, creates unique hand painted stoneware with thistle, flowers, nature and tartan designs. Each tableware design is tastefully inspired by the location of the studio which sits between the Dornoch Firth (estuary), the Cromarty Firth and several different woods. Every piece is very special because it’s been hand painted with deliberate care and attention to the traditional skills and techniques used. This stoneware can be used in microwaves, ovens, freezers and dishwashers.
Beth’s recommendation: We use our large platters to serve smoked salmon canapés on special occasions and our wee mugs every morning for coffee.
