Product Description
Individually hand turned on a lath powered by a waterwheel built by his grandfather, Davy produces unique works of kitchen art. Some might call a spurtle a kitchen gadget but we think of it as a Scottish utensil that is traditionally used to stir porridge (oatmeal). These handmade spurtles can also be used to stir scrambled eggs or tomato sauce.
Beth’s recommendation: eat lots of porridge because it’s healthy for you and add a wee bit of honey or salt depending on your taste preference.
